New clients on Instagram and Messenger can now book with you

If you use Instagram or Facebook Messenger, new prospects can now complete their booking through a secure checkout page. This week also brings verified phone number changes for both owners and clients.

Bookings now work for new Instagram and Messenger clients

When a prospect messages you on Instagram or Facebook Messenger for the first time, they do not yet have a phone number in the system. Previously that created a gap: the chatbot could not collect everything it needed to confirm a booking on those channels. Now, when AllSet has the details it needs to move forward, it sends a tappable button card directly in the conversation. The prospect taps it, lands on a checkout page, fills in their details, and the booking is confirmed. This works for both paid and free sessions.

For paid sessions, once payment is completed, AllSet sends a single booking confirmation. The client gets a clear receipt without duplicate messages.

Change your phone number from the account page

Owners can now change the phone number on their AllSet account directly from account settings. AllSet sends a verification message to the new number before the change takes effect, so nothing switches until you have confirmed it is yours.

Change a client's phone number from the dashboard

If a client changes their number, owners can now update it directly from the client's record. AllSet asks the client to verify the new number before it goes live. The original number stays active in the meantime, so nothing is disrupted mid-conversation.

A fix for returning clients

If a client's record had been archived and they came back to make a new booking or purchase, they were hitting an error instead of being welcomed back. That is now fixed. AllSet reactivates archived clients automatically when they return.

We're also working on some improvements to how clients are found and selected across the dashboard, more on that soon.
