Your Instagram and Messenger visitors can now book straight away
If someone discovers your business via Instagram or Messenger and sends you a message, they can now go straight from that first DM to a confirmed booking. No friction, no handoffs. The chatbot takes care of them the same way it does your existing clients.
This has been a meaningful piece of work. Previously, a new contact DM'ing a freshly connected page would get a generic response rather than the full booking experience. That's now resolved, and it covers both Instagram and Facebook Messenger.
Follow-up improvements
The follow-ups hub got several useful updates this week. You can now delete a campaign directly from the hub, rather than just turning it off. The wizard that helps you draft follow-up messages now pulls in live details about your services and business, so its suggestions are more relevant to what you actually offer. We also put time into the mobile experience: the chat panel in the wizard now stays anchored correctly when the keyboard appears on a phone, making it much more comfortable to use on iOS.
One bug that was catching some users out: clicking the link in a follow-up report email was landing on the wrong tab. That's fixed. It now takes you straight to Responses.
Credit checks and trial flexibility
When you create a booking for a client, you'll now see a warning if their credits won't cover all the sessions in the batch. The breakdown is per service, so you can see exactly where the shortfall is before confirming.
On the billing side: if you're on a free trial and decide to subscribe early by adding a payment method, you now keep your remaining trial days. You won't be charged until the trial period ends.
We're also working on some improvements to how the follow-up wizard paces and steers its messages, more on that soon.
